I'd like to say yes,but I think it clashes with gp2 on fmuk??? If not then I'd love to race my v8 beast....

I had no idea either, the only comp ive been following on fmuk is the ETCC...

Well it's up to you guys which comp you race in not going to feel bad if you race in the GP2 series!

As much as i want to race at laguna im going to have to say im out, as i cant let my team mate down, by no showing and not getting any points, sorry

Is it at all possible to change the last to races two a wednesday?

Don't see why not if I'm honest mate, don't think there is anything else on Wednesday's that it'll clash with.

Will double check and if all is well i'll send pm'd and XBL messages to let people know.

Just checked XPLR and the BMW M1 comp starts on Wednesdays - which will mean Gregbie and Audiman will probably be racing there ... Don't think Greg is signed in for the BMWs yet so will see what his plans are. If he won't be racing the BMWs then I might change it to the weds.


Either way I'll have to have a think about it guys and see what will be best. You won't be letting me down mate as its only been a casual comp that's been for fun, as it was only my first series as CO..

IN (dont mind any day/night. Every day is race day!!)

However you might need to put a notice up on both NBR site and XPLR of the change of venue.

Actually, forget everything I said about running the last two rounds on Friday - remembered I have a friend from uni coming up not this weekend but the weekend after.


So might just change this weeks race to Friday, but leave the final round (endurance event @ Le Sarthe) in its normal Thursday slot..

Sorry if this means that a few may have to miss it, but never fear - the Aussie V8s WILL be back for a second season and I'll make sure it won't clash with any comps that might either be running at the time or due to start not long after ...

Will post up exact date changes tomorrow or Monday, and send everyone involved a message on XBL to notify those who aren't on the forum regularly.

The date for round 5 of the Aussie V8 Supercar series has changed from Thursday 13th to Friday 14th of September.

Time will be the same (9pm), and I will send a reminder message via XBL on Wednesday to make sure everyone is aware.

Ugh! !@#$ing work will make me miss Laguna Seca

I was so hopeful that this week's round would get pushed back a week.

I had thought about pushing it back a week but as there are only two races left I decided to just finish the series as planned.


As I've said a few times though mate there will be a series 2 of the Aussie V8s, will try to make it a longer comp next time (8 rounds probably) and use some different circuits. I will however re-visit some of the more popular rounds from this comp (Laguna Seca will feature again, Road America was a good one too.. And although Sebring was one of my closest and more enjoyable races I don't think I'll include that circuit again!).


Hopefully season 2 will be more popular too, with a different build etc..

Really wanted to finish this. Put me down for the next series mate..
