Seeing as you've picked picked jap cars we'll go for a jap track Very Happy ....

A short but technical one, Tsukuba full.

im on a 47.053 in an mx-5, like the previous ones we've done there's quiet a few good cars to choose from so just need to toy about with them. I even tried restricting them by year, but there's still about 10 or so to choose from.

Realised the impreza was an '04, and that you stated that cars had to be year 2000 or before..

So I got an mx5, stuck an RX7 engine in it, did a very quick tune and managed a 46.449. Reckon there must be a lower 46-second time or possibly even a high 45...

Yeah I got my 46.4 by running full aero downforce (and I always run sim steering Smile).. This circuit is definitely one to use full aero regardless of the car!

Will probably just try altering the springs etc, and have another go sometime .. I uploaded my civic into the club garage if you wanted to try it, will run some more laps tuning the mx5 then upload that too if you like. Is yours running the rx7 engine too?

You'll probably have a very similar build to me then, full race springs/transmission/brakes etc, race tyres with full width upgrade and lightweight wheels (Buddy Clubs I think), didn't do huge amount of engine mods just flywheel and a couple of little bits to get it up to A600. Great little car, just a shame that the sound of the RX7 engine in Forza sounds so irritating! Lol

sounds like a 50cc scrambler on steroids, and the different exhausts dont make any difference to the pitch either

Didn't think to try keeping the standard engine but turbo/supercharge it and build it up to A600 that way .... Maybe it'll be just as quick, but sound a bit better!

Will give that a go somepoint I think but there is still time to be taken off my current best lap, so will continue racing the turbocharged washing machine!

I'll give that a go after the F1 quali, maybe the car will be lighter not replacing the engine just adding a turbo, i'll let you know how it goes, if it goes well i.e i beat my previous time i'll send you the tune

Completely forgot about this!

Just done a few more laps and cut my time down to a 0:46.024, might try push for a 45.xxx ..

That's sticking with the RX7 engine, not tried tuning up the standard MX5 lump yet..
