1:06.986 in my corvette so far, she's definitely got a low 1.05 in her if not 1.04 oversteer is the problem at the minute.

I'll probably be trying out a Lotus of some kind, if not might build something specially for it

I'd be using one of my lotus cars man, and i'm far from a leaderboard tuner!!

Decided against a lotus for now, used my own Shelby Daytona build & tune.

Currently at a 1:05.515, could probably do a few tenths quicker but that car is a bit of a beast!!

I will supply the lotus but in the last few days can see what u both got 1st lol

I have one of those built up as well, AWESOME car, great fun to drive!

I only built it for fun really as it looks and sounds awesome. But after 10 minutes tuning it it's now one of my favourite S class cars to race/drive in kicked some ass in online lobbies over the weekend.. Good times!

If you like tom, entirely up to you, we could stick to american muscle only for this challenge? maybe go for LB cars next time?

As i say entirely your choice, i'll go with the lotus if you still want to.

Nah muscle cars only sounds like a great idea. I've really taken a liking to the beasty hunks of metal recently

Might try building something else to see if I can beat my time in the Shelby Daytona ...

Sorted, i'll have a look tonight then see what other fire breathing monsters i can throw round the track with out the tail leading the front

Easier said than done mate haha, my Daytona ended up going arse-end into the wall on more than one occasion during the first couple of laps!!

Maybe try out the Shelby, it was quite easy to build & tune up to S class ...

Also, I was thinking of setting all of my one-vs-one challenges as non-LB cars only, otherwise it'd get too predictable ...

What do you reckon? I know I won't necessarily be challenging you everytime but it gets boring seeing the same LB cars used time and time again for every hot-lap challenge

Definitely it makes it more fun, set a car or car style or even a specific manufacturer, but it does get a bit tedious when every body goes straight for leaderboard cars. Thats why i thought of using just muscle in this one, it shows more driver skill etc to get the beasts round.

Exactly, it could be quite fun to occasionally restrict these challenges to specific makes. We probably won't affect the leaderboard much but it'd be fun to try and build/race an S class Fiat 500 or something .... !!

But I'll definitely try and do 'themed' one-vs-one challenges, such a jap/American muscle/SUV/classic themes.
